"A MAN PERFORMING MAGIC WITH A PARROT" ~
or "A PARROT PERFORMING MAGIC WITH A
MAN"
Dana Daniels' unique twist on the world
of magic is what separates him from
other magicians, and separates Luigi
from other poultry. This is the dilemma
faced by any comedian trying to work
with a decidedly "off-center" fowl. To
the average entertainer, this would
prove to be an impossible task. But
funnyman-magician, Dana Daniels, and
Luigi, the "Psychic Parrot," have been
pulling it off flawlessly for years to
the great delight of audiences around
the world. With Dana as the comedian,
and Luigi as the straight bird, the duo
performs "off-the-wall" magic blended
with rapid-fire comedy.

After shows, Dana is frequently thanked
by audience members for making them roar
with laughter without the use of
four-letter words. This is why he is in
such high demand by Fortune 500
companies.
When not performing at private
functions, Dana likes to hone his skills
at magic night clubs. He is a favorite
at the world famous Magic Castle in
Hollywood and Wizardz in Studio City.
These performances caught the attention
of certain producers and launched Dana
into several major revue shows including
the Broadway hit, Sugar Babies,
Spellbound, in Las Vegas and Atlantic
City, as well as Dick Fosters' Eclipse
at Harrah's Casino in Lake Tahoe.
One of Dana's secrets of success is to
work as often as you can... And never
stop! Dana is fast becoming a familiar
face. in 2004 Dana received not one, but
TWO awards from The Academy of Magical
Arts (The Magic Castle), Comedy Magician
of the Year, and Parlor Magician of the
Year! |

His many television appearances include
Evening at the Improv, CBS Morning
Program, The Disney Channel, The Golden
Girls, and the NBC hit comedy, News
Radio. Recently, he was featured on The
Learning Channel’s special, "The Secret
World of Magicians". Dana is often
recognized from these appearances. Not
by name, but by "hey look it's that
funny guy with the parrot." Dana doesn't
mind the obscurity, as long as they
spell his name correctly on the check...
"L-u-i-g-i". |
